Learn more about the different colors of holland lops! This page is a work in progress!
The Agouti group includes chestnut, opal, chocolate chestnut, lynx, chinchilla, squirrel, chocolate chinchilla, and lilac chinchilla. These bunnies may resemble "wild rabbits" due to the bands of color and dark ticking on their fur. The fur has rings of color when blown into. They have white/cream color around their eyes, nose, mouth, bellies, inside ears, and under tail.
The wide band group includes cream, frosty, and orange.
The self group includes black, blue, chocolate, lilac, red eyed white, and blue eyed white. Self rabbits will have one color on their hair shaft unlike agouti's. There will be no rings when blown into the fur.
Tan patterned rabbits include otter (black, blue, chocolate, and lilac), silver marten (black, blue, chocolate, and lilac), sable marten, and smoke pearl marten. They have white/cream color around their eyes, nose, mouth, bellies, inside ears, and under tail. Tan pattern will also have some light ticking around the sides and back end near the tail. No rings will be found when blown into their fur. It will be a solid color through the whole hair shaft.
