Mini plushes are here! This is the longest stretch we've had in between litters. Last litter of plushes was in February. I'm so obsessed with these babies and now that bunny therapy is open, this will be our first litter involved in our therapy program which helps socialize them even more!
Pictured below is our new buck, Benny! He has such a sweet temperament and is very social. I am very selective on who I bring into my breeding program, especially for my mini plushes because they aren't a perfected breed yet. My standard is a little different than what most breed for. I am basically trying to have the body shape of a holland lop with rex fur. That would be wider crowns, shorter wider ears, thicker bone, and flatter faces. I think Benny adds the wider crown and shorter wider ears to this without losing the quality in his fur. He is SO soft! I bred him to Grace and I'm hopeful to meet the little nuggets mid June!
Here is a little sneak peak of Faith and Binx's babies. Their eyes just opened a few days ago and they are learning to explore more in the nesting box. They haven't made an appearance out yet but soon enough they will be hopping around! Both are girls and I decided to name them Sugar and Cookie. For those of you coming to a bunny therapy event in June, you will get to meet these babies!
